Raymour and Flanigan TDBank Card
Recently received a letter in the mail that Overstock Comenity is ceasing this month. Fortunately, I have no balance on the card.
However-- I was looking at getting a new living room set and applied (no score impact) to Raymour and Flanigan's CC. Was preapproved for $8k, but I don't know much about the card itself.
Is the card a store only card, or is it an actual Visa, MC, etc? Is it a revolving card? How difficult are CLI's with TDBank?

Re: Raymour and Flanigan TDBank Card
With all due respect, why don't you know anything about the card before applying? Did you google it? Look up reviews? Do you know the APR? Are you even allowed to carry a balance? Do you know who will get your personal information and what they're allowed to do with it?
Seems to me just taking on this card with no idea what you're into is a bit short sighted.
...and debt free.

With all due respect, your questions seem a bit short sighted as none answered my original questions. But since you asked- yes, I know what the APR is, yes, I Googled it,, and yes, I seem the reviews.
As for whether to carry a balance, that's why I asked if it was a revolving card.
I appreciate the response, but providing at least one answer to my above questions would've been valuable.

You're the one who applied without knowing whether it was a store card or a Visa/MC. Seems to me that would have been easy enough to find out before applying.

Respectfully, there's a difference between "applying" and "preapproval." I completed a "preapproval". I was always of the mind this was a helping community and not scrutinizing.
Ultimately- I was looking for feedback from those who have EXPERIENCE with this card, hence the reason for my questions.

Re: Raymour and Flanigan TDBank Card
Seems you can only use it at their store. No interest for 72 months from what the site says. Bad reviews though, from what I saw. Have you thought of PayPal credit? FYI they have no interest for 6 months if you needed a short term financing option if you can't PIF in 30 days. Just a thought. And as a bonus you get your Vantage 4.0 credit score with PayPal.

Thank you! This is exactly the feedback I was looking for. I, too, have noticed the reviews were bad (more so TDBank lowering CLI's, and not wanting to maintain credit limits when balances are paid off.) But figured I'd ask and see if there was any firsthand experience with the card.
As good as it sounds, I may pass on the preapproval. I haven't thought about the PayPal CC though, although I have seen it, just haven't been able to convince myself into it. Will have to check it out

I don't know why so many people are piling on you. It's not necessary or supportive or helpful.
I don't know the answer(s) to your question(s), but one cautionary note. I would have some concern whether this card will score as a consumer finance account for FICO scoring. Sadly there is no way of knowing unless and until it happens, so for this reason I have avoided any store card that is not very well known -- like Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc. It's probably fine, but once a CFA lands on your reports, you're stuck with it and its damage for as long as it's on your reports, even if you close the account. Again, I'm not saying it will score this way, but it's always something to keep in mind. Good luck and go with your gut.

Re: Raymour and Flanigan TDBank Card
@YoungMoney06It is PayPal credit, I'm not sure about the PayPal Credit card. The line of credit is attached to your PayPal account like a PLOC to a checking account at your bank. There is no physical credit card it is for online purchases with a pretty decent purchase protection plan and you get a credit monitoring program on the app for your Vantage credit score 4.0 which you can't even pay to see at this time as of yet. I know they also have a mastercard with 2% cashback but if you're looking for that type of card there are other cards that have a higher CB value. 4% Verizon, 5% US Bank etc etc.
